So sorry to hear this! All the others have given you sensible and practical advice, I can't add much to this. Please consider going to a Citizen Advice bureau (I went there myself once, for a much less important issue, and they were very helpful, pointed me in the right direction), and also Legal Aid, which offers free or low cost legal advice. Involve your family and your closest friends. Do not cut yourself off the world. You have every reason to protect yourself from him and his bullish, violent behaviour. All the best. Stay strong.
